Each shade is handcrafted from real travertine, so the pores, veining and soft cream tones vary from piece to piece and no two lights are exactly alike. Inspired by the Japanese wabi-sabi idea of beauty in imperfection, it gives off a warm, calm glow that suits dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas.
Choose a cylindrical shade or a softer rounded cylinder, in two sizes: about 11.8 inches across and 4.3 inches tall, or a more compact 7.9 by 2.8 inches. Hang a single pendant beside the bed or over a reading corner, or choose the 2-light or 3-light version, which groups the shades under a walnut wood ceiling base about 23.6 or 39.4 inches long, ideal above a dining table or kitchen island. A long, flexible cord lets you set the drop to suit your ceiling height.
The pendant is a corded ceiling fixture rated for AC 90–260V and is not dimmable, and we recommend installation by a qualified electrician. To care for the stone, switch off the power and dust gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water and harsh cleaners. Casavellum lighting is chosen to bring natural, enduring materials into your home.
